Department of Mathematics hosts the second Mathematics Research Day online. Ferre Knaepkens gives a talk titled “Sparse exponential analysis”.

The H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) proposal EXPOWER: EXPOnential analysis emPOWERing innovation has been selected for EU funding. This project is coordinated by our group and combines a broad spectrum of key research activities on exponential analysis. The EXPOWER consortium connects 18 members from 9 countries:

• 8 universities: University of Antwerp (Belgium), University of Goettingen (Germany), University of Stirling (UK), University of Lille (France), Stellenbosch University (South Africa), University of Delaware (USA), University of Waterloo (Canada), National Taiwan University (Taiwan).

The 4th Dolomites Workshop on Constructive Approximation and Applications (Alba di Canazei, Italy) dedicated to Annie Cuyt on the occasion of her 60th birthday. Our group organizes the “sparse approximation” session. Several CMA members participate and give talks.
