The 40th Woudschoten Numerical Analysis Conference "Past, present and future of scientific computing" at the Woudschoten Conference Centre, Zeist (Netherlands). Matteo Briani presents a poster titled "Validated exponential analysis", a joint work with Annie Cuyt and Wen-shin Lee.

The 6th Workshop on High-Dimensional Approximation (HDA2015) at University of Bonn (Germany). Wen-shin Lee delivers a talk titled "A sparse sampling method to estimate parameters in multivariate exponential sums", a joint work with Annie Cuyt.

Dolomites Research Week on Approximation (DRWA15) in Alba di Canazei (Italy). Several members of CMA participate. Our research group organizes a working group "Interpolation: dimensionality, sparsity, orthogonality".

The 3rd Workshop on Hybrid Methodologies for Symbolic-Numeric Computation, an embedded meeting of the 8th International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics in Beijing (China). Wen-shin Lee gives an invited talk "How sub-sampling can lead to more robustness and higher resolution in parametric spectral analysis", a joint work with Annie Cuyt.

Sait Erkoven (Gebze Technical University, Turkey) starts a 6-month research visit at our group. His stay is funded by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (Tübitak).

VI Jaen Conference on Approximation Theory at Ubeda, Jaen (Spain). Annie Cuyt delivers a plenary talk titled "Exponential analysis, sparse interpolation and Padé approximation".

Giovanni Lo Bianco (Ecole des Mines de Nantes, France) starts a 3-month internship with our group.

Dagstuhl Seminar: Sparse modelling and multi-exponential analysis at the Leibniz Center for Informatics (Schloss Dagstuhl, Germany). Our group organizes and coordinates the seminar. Several members of CMA participate.

The 13th International Symposium on Orthogonal Polynomials, Special Functions and Applications, co-organized by SIAM and the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), held at the NIST in Gaithersburg, Maryland (USA). Our group contributes to three talks:

• "DLMF standard reference tables on demand (DLMF Tables)" (Bonita V. Saunders, Bruce Miller, Marjorie McClain, Daniel Lozier, Andrew Dienstfrey, Annie Cuyt, Stefan Becuwe and Franky Backeljauw).
• "Numerical Multivariate Polynomial factorization" (Wen-shin Lee and Annie Cuyt).
• "Near-minimal cubature rules on the disk" (Irem Yaman, Annie Cuyt and Brahim Benouahmane).

The mini-symposium on "Orthogonal polynomials and special functions: computational aspects" is organized by Annie Cuyt.​

WSC Spring meeting 2015, co-orgaized by our research group and the Werk- gemeenschap Scientific Computing, held at the Campus Middelheim in the University of Antwerp. Matteo Briani gives a presentation titled "Exponential analysis, sparse interpolation and Pade approximation", a joint work with Annie Cuyt and Wen-shin Lee.

Min Tang (East China Normal University, China) joins our research group as a joint PhD student and starts a 6-month research stay.

Yuan Hou (East China Normal University, China) starts a 3-month stay at our research group on the research project "Special function tables on demand" (in cooperation with the National Institute of Standards, Washington, D.C., USA). His stay is funded by the Fund of ECNU for Overseas and Domestic Academic Visit.

Annie Cuyt invited to give a colloquium lecture "Signal processing, Sparse interpolation, and Rational approximation" at the Institute for Numerical and Applied Mathematics, University of Goettingen (Germany).
